Which trading strategies can I use? (Martingale, RRR, position sizing)

Martingale, position sizing, re-entries, risk-reward

We allow our traders to utilize the martingale strategy.

We do not approve or reject individual setups or specific strategies because we do not want to limit your strategy or risk parameters. Whether it is a specific risk-reward ratio, re-entry strategies, Martingale, or opening x number of positions, specific position sizing, your approach is generally fine as long as it meets these conditions:

  1. It follows the SimFi general rules for your account, including drawdown limits and the other guardrails of your Challenge or Performance stage.

  2. It could be executed in a real market. Strategies that exploit the simulated environment are not allowed, such as feed abuse, freezing, high-frequency trading, or straddling.

  3. It stays within the technical or trading limits: max 50 lots per ticket (20 lots on XAUUSD), max 100 open orders and pending orders at once, and max 2,000 server requests and 2,000 positions per day; notional limits for Perps or margins.

  4. It’s your own strategy. We allow one strategy per user, so identical trades across multiple users can lead to account termination.

  5. Additional list of Trading policies - Classic Markets + Perps. Trading policies for Futures.

There is no hard limit on risk per trade idea. Still, putting most of your daily drawdown on a single idea rarely leads to consistent results, and our most successful traders typically risk 1–1.5% per idea. If an approach looks overly aggressive, our risk team may reach out to talk it through. That is support, not a penalty.
