Perpetual Futures (Perps) is a new market available on E8 Terminal, powered by the Hyperliquid data feed. It replaces the existing Crypto market and expands the available instruments to include cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices, and metals - all within the SimFi™ environment.
What are Perpetual Futures?
Perpetual Futures, or Perps are derivative contracts that let you trade the price movement of an asset without owning it and without an expiry date. Unlike traditional futures, they run indefinitely (24/7 Trading). Hold as long as you want, as long as your margin holds.
Simply put: you are trading price direction, with leverage, and no expiry clock.
What is Hyperliquid?
Hyperliquid is a high-performance decentralised exchange (DEX) built specifically for perpetual futures trading. It operates on its own blockchain - the Hyperliquid L1 which is designed for speed, transparency, and on-chain order book execution.
What makes Hyperliquid different from traditional centralised exchanges is that all trades, order books, and liquidations happen on-chain, meaning every transaction is verifiable and transparent. It has rapidly become one of the most liquid and actively traded perpetuals venues in the market.
E8 Terminal uses Hyperliquid as its data feed for the Perps market - meaning the prices, spreads, and market movements you see on your account reflect what is happening on Hyperliquid in real time.
How does this work at E8?
